Hughes made a series of "no comment" answers to media questions about world champion Alex "Chumpy" Pullin's influence on him after training on Saturday, sparking speculation that there was some ill-feeling there. The Sydney teenager is also a member of a group of snowboarders including Torah Bright, Scotty James and Belle Brockhoff who have dubbed themselves "Team Outcast" in a swipe at the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia, because none of them are scholarship holders. Both Bright and James have turned down scholarships, while Brockhoff and Hughes, who won his first World Cup race last month, are supported by the NSW Institute of Sport."We're just a team of riders on World Cup who like to hang out and actually help each other on World Cup," Hughes said.
